Smoked Garlic Mashed Potatoes

2 1/2 pounds baking potatoes, peeled & quartered
Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper.
8 heads smoked garlic peeled and mashed
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup milk
Cover potatoes with water, cook until tender, drain and mash. In small saucepan, combine smoked garlic, butter and milk. Cook over low heat, stir into a smooth paste. Mash together potatoes and smoked garlic mixture. Season generously with salt and pepper. Serves 4 to 6.
